Göteborgs Varvet

So heiβt einer der gröβten Halbmarathonläufe der Welt. An diesem Wochenende war es wieder soweit. 45.000 angemeldete erwachsene Läufer und 8.000 Kinder und Jugendliche drängelten sich an den Startpositionen. Luke war auch angemeldet, konnte aber leider wegen der ausgebrochenen Angina nicht starten. Ole und Nils blieben völlig gesund und traten mit Begeisterung für die internationale Schule an. Familie Vorwerk aus der FeG Ingolstadt hat das Spektakel übrigens auch live mitgekriegt. Klasse Sache und tolle Atmosphäre! Und nächstes Jahr laufen alle fünf von uns! “Göteborgs varvet” is the name of one of the biggest half marathons of the world. Last weekend it was due again. A crowd of 45,000 registered adult runners and 8,000 kids and youths were at the start positions. Luke was also registered, but unfortunately he could not start due to his angina. Our sons Ole and Nils were healthy, motivated and enthusiastic and just like this they started for the international school of Gothenburg. A befriended family from our sending church was here as well, and together with them we enjoyed a good mood and a great atmosphere. And next year will be 5 registrations more: The Fritsch family.
